Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Curriculum Head to lead the design, development and implementation of future-ready, hands-on learning programmes for schools, colleges and educational institutions.

The role will be responsible for building structured, engaging and outcome-driven curricula across STEM/STEAM, robotics, coding, AI/ML, mechatronics, 3D printing, digital fabrication, design thinking and other emerging technology domains. The ideal candidate should combine strong pedagogical expertise with practical technology awareness to translate complex concepts into age-appropriate, project-based learning experiences.

The position will also oversee curriculum integration with innovation labs and makerspaces, teacher training, instructional resources, curriculum quality and continuous improvement based on student learning outcomes and institutional feedback.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Strategy & Development

- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum roadmap for school and institutional learning programmes across different age groups and academic levels.
- Design structured learning pathways, lesson plans, learning objectives, project briefs, practical activities, assessments and instructional resources.
- Develop interdisciplinary STEM/STEAM programmes integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics and real-world problem-solving.
- Ensure curriculum alignment with relevant educational frameworks, including NEP 2020, NCF and applicable CBSE skill education requirements.
- Create progressive learning pathways from foundational concepts to advanced prototyping, experimentation and innovation.

2. STEM, Robotics & Innovation Learning

- Lead curriculum development across domains such as robotics, coding, AI/ML, IoT, mechatronics, 3D printing, digital design, AR/VR, woodworking, fabrication and other maker-based disciplines, as relevant to the programme portfolio.
- Develop hands-on, project-based modules that encourage creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, experimentation and problem-solving.
- Integrate industry-relevant tools, software, equipment and technologies into practical learning experiences.
- Ensure that each module includes explicit learning outcomes, guided activities, practical projects, assessment criteria and opportunities for independent creation.
- Promote design thinking, iterative prototyping and real-world application rather than theory-only instruction.

3. Innovation Lab & Makerspace Integration

- Collaborate with Product, Pre-Sales, Technology,

Operations and Lab Setup teams to ensure curriculum compatibility with available equipment, tools, software and infrastructure.
- Develop curriculum packages suitable for different lab configurations, student levels, institutional requirements and implementation models.
- Establish standard operating guidelines for practical activities, equipment usage, classroom facilitation and student safety in coordination with relevant teams.
- Support the development of lab manuals, facilitator guides, project kits, equipment-linked learning resources and demonstration projects.
- Ensure that proposed learning programmes are practical to deliver within institutional timetables and available resources.

4. Digital Learning & Instructional Resources

- Oversee the development of digital learning content, teacher toolkits, student resources, interactive modules and multimedia instructional materials.
- Work with Product and Technology teams to integrate curriculum content into digital learning platforms and related learning tools.
- Explore the effective use of AI-enabled learning, simulations and digital tools to enhance teaching, learning and assessment.
- Establish standards for content accuracy, instructional quality, consistency, usability and periodic updates.

5. Teacher Training & Academic Enablement

- Design and lead teacher training, train-the-trainer programmes, workshops and ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Develop facilitator handbooks, teaching guides, activity demonstrations and troubleshooting resources.
- Enable educators to deliver hands-on sessions confidently, manage practical activities and assess student projects effectively.
- Establish mechanisms to collect teacher feedback and identify training or implementation gaps.

6. Assessment, Quality & Learning Outcomes

- Develop assessment frameworks, project evaluation rubrics, competency matrices and student progress-tracking mechanisms.
- Establish measurable learning outcomes for each module and learning pathway.
- Review curriculum effectiveness through student projects, assessments, classroom observations, teacher feedback and institutional reviews.
- Conduct periodic curriculum audits and update content based on emerging technologies,

educational requirements and implementation feedback.
- Maintain version control, curriculum documentation and quality assurance standards.

7. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Lead, mentor and develop curriculum designers, subject matter experts, instructional designers and content development teams.
- Define work plans, priorities, review mechanisms and delivery timelines for curriculum development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to understand institutional requirements and support curriculum presentations, demonstrations and solution proposals.
- Work with Procurement and Product teams to evaluate tools, technologies, kits and resources required for curriculum delivery.
- Support new programme launches, pilot implementations, academic partnerships and institutional engagements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Master's degree in Education, Educational Technology, STEM Education, Engineering or a related discipline. A B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification will be an advantage.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in curriculum development, academic programme design, STEM/STEAM education, educational technology or instructional design.
- Demonstrated experience leading curriculum development initiatives and managing multidisciplinary teams or projects.
- Strong understanding of school education, experiential learning, project-based pedagogy and competency-based assessment.
- Practical familiarity with at least two or more relevant domains, such as robotics, coding, AI/ML, electronics, IoT, 3D printing, CAD/design tools or digital fabrication.
- Experience developing structured curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, project guides, teacher resources and assessment rubrics.
- Familiarity with NEP 2020, NCF and CBSE skill education frameworks.
- Experience working with schools, teachers, academic leaders or educational institutions.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in makerspaces, innovation labs, ATL or STEM/robotics lab programmes.
- Exposure to LMS platforms, digital curriculum delivery and AI-enabled educational tools.
- Experience in teacher training, academic implementation, curriculum audits and learning outcome measurement.
- Strong project management, stakeholder communication, analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to balance pedagogical quality, technical feasibility, student engagement and commercial implementation requirements.
