Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced *Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Python and Kotlin* to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate should have solid programming fundamentals, experience in API development, backend engineering, system integration, and production-grade application development.

The candidate should be comfortable working across both Python and Kotlin ecosystems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering reliable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Python and Kotlin.
* Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
* Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
* Work with databases, data models, and query optimization.
* Integrate applications with third-party APIs, internal systems, and external services.
* Implement error handling, logging, debugging, and performance optimization.
* Write unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
* Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
* Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
* Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
* Work with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated deployment processes.
* Ensure application security, reliability, scalability, and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience in software development and engineering.




* Solid hands-on programming experience in *Python and Kotlin*.
* Experience developing backend applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
* Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
* Experience with Kotlin-based application development and relevant frameworks or libraries.
* Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
* Experience with Git and version control systems.
* Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code quality practices.
* Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Spring Boot or other JVM-based frameworks for Kotlin.
* Knowledge of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and event-driven architectures.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
* Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized application deployments.
* Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
* Exposure to monitoring, logging, and application performance tools.
* Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Pay: Up to ₹130,000.00 per month
