We are looking for a responsible and organized Store In-Charge to manage daily store operations, maintain inventory accuracy, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely issuance of materials to the production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, chemicals, consumables, and other items.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Issue materials to production departments as per authorized requests.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase team for replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials.
- Maintain GRN, material issue notes, stock reports, and other store documents.
- Coordinate with purchase, production, accounts, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure housekeeping, safety, and proper storage practices.
Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Relevant practical experience with positive inventory management knowledge will also be considered.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse management.
- Experience in textile, manufacturing, or textile processing industries is preferred.
- Knowledge of stock management, material handling, and ERP systems is an advantage.
Required Skills:
- Good inventory management and record-keeping skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP software.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain accurate stock records and prevent material shortages.
