Role Overview

We need an experienced Next.js Developer to build and grow e-commerce web applications. You will own features from design to deployment. You will work with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver fast, reliable, and user-friendly online stores.

Key Responsibilities

Development

- Build and maintain e-commerce web applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Build key shopping features: product listing, search and filters, product detail pages, cart, checkout, and order tracking.
- Use SSR, SSG, and ISR correctly to get good speed and SEO.
- Write reusable, clean, and maintainable components.

End-to-End Delivery

- Take ownership of features and projects from requirements to production release.
- Integrate REST or GraphQL APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services.
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS.

Performance and Quality

- Improve page load time, Core Web Vitals, and SEO.
- Use code splitting, image optimization, and caching.
- Find and fix bugs across browsers and devices.
- Write unit and integration tests.

Collaboration and Leadership

- Work closely with designers, backend developers, and QA.
- Do code reviews and share knowledge with junior developers.
- Document technical decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- At least 5 years of total experience in web development.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Next.js.
- Strong skills in React, TypeScript,



and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proven experience in the e-commerce domain.
- End-to-end delivery of at least 2 e-commerce projects.
- Basic experience with AWS hosting (EC2, S3, CloudFront, or similar).
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
- Experience with state management and data fetching (Redux, Zustand, React Query, or similar).
- Positive knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

- Experience with payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, or similar).
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or SCSS.
- Knowledge of Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of Docker and frontend SEO best practices.
- Experience with analytics and A/B testing tools.
