- Collect and process blood, urine, and other patient samples as per hospital protocols.
- Perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper sample labeling, handling, storage, and disposal.
- Maintain laboratory registers, test reports, and patient records.
- Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and safety protocols.
- Perform internal quality control and report equipment or test abnormalities.
- Ensure timely reporting of test results to authorized personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
- Check reagent stock, expiry dates, and laboratory consumables.
- Report critical test results promptly to the concerned doctor as per hospital policy.
- Follow hospital policies and NABH-related laboratory procedures.
