Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate – US Accounting to manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting operations for US-based clients. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing, along with hands-on experience using accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and maintain accurate books of accounts for US-based clients.

Handle month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including preparation of supporting workpapers.

Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements and accounting reports.

Perform bank, balance sheet, and other account reconciliations.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll-related accounting activities.

Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant schedules and documentation.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.

Communicate with clients to resolve accounting discrepancies and operational queries.

Apply appropriate accounting principles and maintain compliance with established accounting procedures.

Use advanced Excel skills to analyse financial data and prepare reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications





Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with US-based clients.

Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual-based accounting.

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, or Sage Intacct.

Experience in end-to-end bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and closing activities.

Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team.

Work Arrangement:

Pune: Work from home arrangement for the initial few months.

Candidates must be comfortable working the US-aligned evening shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
