Job Title: Travel Consultant – IATA Qualified

Job Summary

We are looking for an IATA-qualified Travel Consultant with strong knowledge of flight reservations, ticketing, and travel arrangements. The ideal candidate should have expertise in GDS systems, preferably Amadeus, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while managing domestic and international travel bookings.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle domestic and international flight reservations and ticketing.
- Manage flight bookings, cancellations, reissues, refunds, and ticket modifications.
- Use GDS platforms, preferably Amadeus, for flight search, fare calculations, and ticket issuance.
- Provide accurate information on fares, baggage allowances, airline policies, and travel requirements.
- Assist customers with itineraries, hotel reservations, travel insurance, and other travel-related services.
- Coordinate with airlines, suppliers, and customers to resolve booking-related issues.
- Ensure accuracy in passenger details, PNR creation, and ticket issuance.




- Maintain proper booking records and follow company procedures.
- Achieve assigned sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Educational Qualifications

- IATA qualification or a recognized certification in Travel & Tourism, Air Ticketing, or a related field.
- Additional training in GDS systems, especially Amadeus, will be an advantage.

Required Skills

- Practical knowledge of airline reservations and ticketing procedures.
- Proficiency in Amadeus or other GDS platforms.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency and email communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple bookings efficiently.

Experience

- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a travel agency or ticketing environment is preferred.
- Candidates with solid practical ticketing knowledge and an IATA qualification may also be considered.
