Conversion UX Strategist – Funnel Planning, Landing Pages & AI-Assisted UI
We are looking for a Conversion UX Strategist who can plan, design, and improve landing pages that turn paid advertising traffic into qualified enquiries, leads, calls, WhatsApp conversations, and bookings.
This is a strategy-first landing page role, not a website development or coding role. You will understand the client's business, product or service, target audience, and campaign objective before planning the user journey and designing pages using AI-powered tools.
You will take ownership of the process from research and funnel planning to strategy documentation, client approval, AI-assisted UI design, launch coordination, and post-launch optimization.
We are looking for someone who can explain not just how a landing page should look, but why each section exists, how it supports the campaign goal, and how the page encourages visitors to enquire.
What You’ll Do1. Business, Offer & Audience Research
- Understand the client's business, main product or service, unique selling proposition (USP), and competitive advantages.
- Clarify the business goal and campaign objective, such as phone calls, WhatsApp enquiries, form submissions, or bookings.
- Define the target audience, including customer needs, pain points, motivations, objections, and reasons to trust the business.
- Research competitor landing pages, advertising messages, offers, and conversion approaches.
- Identify gaps in the client's current messaging and opportunities to improve relevance, clarity, and conversion potential.
2. Funnel Planning & Customer Journey
- Plan the complete conversion journey from advertisement to landing page, enquiry form or contact action, and thank-you page.
- Ensure the landing page message matches the advertisement that brought the visitor to the page.
- Define the next action visitors should take at each stage of the journey.
- Identify potential points of confusion, hesitation, or drop-off and recommend ways to address them.
- Align the landing page experience with the campaign objective and the client's sales process.
3. Landing Page Strategy & Structure
- Plan the page structure based on audience needs, offer strength, customer intent, and conversion goals.
- Define the purpose and content of key sections, including headlines, offers, benefits, proof points, FAQs, and calls to action.
- Plan the messaging hierarchy so visitors quickly understand what is offered, who it is for, and why they should take action.
- Recommend trust-building elements such as customer reviews, testimonials, case studies, certifications, and relevant business credentials.
- Plan enquiry forms and conversion actions that make it easy for visitors to contact the business.
- Explain the reasoning behind section order, content choices, CTA placement, and trust elements rather than relying on generic templates.
4. Strategy Documentation, Wireframes & Client Approval
- Prepare a clear landing page strategy document that explains the business objective, audience, offer, funnel journey, and recommended page structure.
- Create wireframes or structured page layouts to communicate the proposed user journey and information hierarchy.
- Document the purpose of each section, key messaging requirements, conversion actions, and credibility elements.
- Identify missing information and prepare focused questions for the client.
- Present the strategy in simple, professional language that clients can understand and approve.
- Incorporate relevant client feedback and obtain approval before proceeding with the final page design.
5. AI-Assisted Landing Page & UI Design
- Use AI-powered design tools to turn the approved strategy and wireframes into landing page UI.
- Create clean, conversion-focused layouts that support the campaign objective and user journey.
- Follow a mobile-first approach to ensure landing pages work effectively on smartphones and other screen sizes.
- Maintain consistency between ad messaging, landing page content, visual hierarchy, and calls to action.
- Review AI-generated designs for usability, content clarity, layout consistency, and conversion flow.
- Refine the design based on the approved strategy rather than allowing visual preferences to drive decisions.
6. Launch Coordination & Conversion Tracking
- Coordinate with the advertising team and developers to prepare landing pages for launch.
- Communicate page structure, content requirements, design specifications, and conversion actions clearly.
- Help ensure that forms, call buttons, WhatsApp links, thank-you pages, and other conversion elements function as intended.
- Work with the relevant team to confirm enquiry tracking and campaign measurement are set up correctly.
- Support the team in identifying issues that may affect the visitor experience or lead tracking.
7. Performance Review & Conversion Optimization
- Review post-launch performance using available campaign and analytics data.
- Evaluate enquiries, conversion rates, user drop-off, and other relevant performance indicators.
- Identify potential improvements to messaging, offers, page structure, forms, CTAs, and trust elements.
- Recommend and prioritize changes based on campaign objectives and observed performance.
- Collaborate with the advertising and development teams to implement and evaluate improvements.
- Use performance feedback to make future landing page strategies more effective.
Tools & Platforms
