Planning Labs is an integrated experiential marketing, events, exhibitions, BTL activations and digital marketing agency delivering creative and execution-driven solutions for corporate clients across India.

We are expanding our leadership team and looking for an experienced Agency Head who can independently lead our Events & Experiential division.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strong operational leader who can take complete ownership of event projects, production teams, vendors, client deliverables and profitability.

This is a leadership position for someone who can manage the division independently and work closely with the Founder & CEO on business growth and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end execution of corporate events, BTL activations, exhibitions, conferences and experiential campaigns.
- Manage event operations, production, procurement and execution teams.
- Independently handle multiple projects across different locations.
- Review project budgets, quotations, vendor negotiations and profitability.
- Ensure projects are executed within approved timelines and budgets.
- Oversee vendor development, quality control and commercial negotiations.
- Establish SOPs, reporting systems and project management processes.
- Guide and mentor Event Managers, Executives and Production Teams.




- Handle critical client escalations and operational challenges.
- Coordinate with creative, client servicing, business development and finance teams.
- Monitor project margins, resource allocation and operational efficiency.
- Provide weekly project, financial and operational reports to management.

Candidate Requirements

- 8–12 years of relevant experience in event management, experiential marketing or BTL agencies.
- Proven experience independently managing large corporate events and multi-city activations.
- Strong understanding of event production, fabrication, logistics and vendor management.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and budgeting skills.
- Solid leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and client handling skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools.
- Comfortable travelling for projects across India.

Important: We are looking for an agency operations leader, not solely an on-ground Event Manager.
