DwarfEye Labs is looking for a hands-on AI/ML Engineer with strong Computer Vision and Video Analytics expertise to build, optimize and deploy AI models that turn CCTV video into actionable business intelligence.

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Role: AI/ML Engineer – Computer Vision & Video Intelligence

What You Will Do

- Build, train, evaluate and optimize Computer Vision and Deep Learning models.
- Develop real-time Video Analytics solutions for detection, tracking, behavior, footfall, queues, theft, staff analytics, safety and compliance.
- Work with datasets, annotation, augmentation, training, validation, retraining and model optimization.
- Build reliable real-time inference pipelines and optimize models for Edge AI deployment.
- Analyze real-world performance and improve accuracy, stability, inference speed and scalability.
- Guide and mentor AI/ML team members, review work and help solve technical challenges.
- Explore recent Computer Vision techniques, models and tools to strengthen DwarfEye's AI capabilities.

What We Are Looking For





- 3–4 years of hands-on AI/ML experience, preferably in Computer Vision and Video Analytics.
- Strong Python, OpenCV, PyTorch and/or TensorFlow skills.
- Experience with YOLO or similar object detection frameworks, tracking and video processing.
- Good understanding of Deep Learning, Computer Vision, model evaluation and optimization.
- Experience with real-world datasets, annotation, training and model improvement.
- Knowledge of real-time inference and Edge AI is an advantage.
- Ability to take ownership of AI modules from development to deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to guide a small AI/ML team.
