Tool Shop Fitter – Responsibility

- Fitter (Tool Shop) – Responsibilities
- Perform fitting, filing, drilling, tapping, grinding, and deburring operations on tooling components.
- Assemble, dismantle, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and related components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial gauges.
- Carry out tool modifications and corrections as per technical requirements.
- Identify tool defects, wear, and damage, and take corrective action to minimize production downtime.
- Support preventive maintenance of tools, dies, and fixtures.
- Ensure proper fitting, alignment, clearance, and dimensional accuracy of assembled components.




- Coordinate with the Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments for tooling-related requirements.
- Maintain tools, measuring instruments, and the tool shop in positive working condition.
- Follow safety procedures, 5S practices, and housekeeping standards.
- Maintain records of tool repairs, maintenance activities, and material consumption as required.
- Perform any other job-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Pay: ₹15,600.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
