Job Summary

We are hiring a Procurement Head to lead sourcing, purchasing and vendor management for IT hardware, software licences, cloud services and project equipment. The role involves managing costs, quality, delivery timelines and procurement compliance for enterprise and government projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead procurement strategy, vendor identification, RFQ/RFP processes, negotiations and purchase execution.
- Procure servers, networking equipment, security systems, devices, software licences and cloud subscriptions.
- Build and maintain a reliable vendor network.
- Manage vendor evaluation, onboarding, performance reviews and rate contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, Service Level Agreements and Annual Maintenance Contracts.
- Establish procurement policies, approval workflows and documentation standards.
- Coordinate project purchases to meet deployment timelines.
- Manage imports, logistics, GST and e-way bill documentation with finance and administration teams.
- Coordinate inventory and asset management.




- Support tender purchases through Bill of Quantities analysis, OEM authorisations and Manufacturer Authorisation Forms.
- Track cost savings, procurement lead times, vendor performance and budget adherence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 10+ years of procurement or sourcing experience, including 3+ years in leadership.
- Significant experience procuring IT hardware, software and services.
- Graduate degree required.
- Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated record of cost savings.
- Experience managing procurement for project-based businesses.
- Working knowledge of GST, import procedures, logistics and asset management.
- Proficiency in procurement/ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
- Strong documentation practices, professional integrity and audit readiness.

Preferred Skills

- MBA in Supply Chain, Operations or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience with government tenders, GeM and e-procurement portals.
- Experience with PSU or government supply contracts.
- Established OEM relationships across servers, networking, surveillance, security and healthcare-related equipment.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
