Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Salary Budget: ₹18,000 – ₹24,000 per month
Job Summary
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 1–4 years of experience to provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and network connectivity. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations at the customer site.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office issues.
- Diagnose and resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity problems.
- Provide onsite technical support to end users.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
- Install operating systems, drivers, applications, and security updates.
- Attend service requests and resolve issues within the agreed SLA.
- Maintain service records,
troubleshooting reports, and asset details.
- Coordinate with the internal IT team for escalations and hardware replacements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective technical support.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in desktop and laptop troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and software installation.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience in printer installation and troubleshooting.
- Valuable communication, problem-solving, and customer-handling skills.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in desktop support or IT infrastructure support.
- Joining: Immediate joiners preferred.
