Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Executive to manage purchasing activities for our FMCG testing laboratory. The role involves sourcing laboratory chemicals, reagents, glassware, consumables, instruments, spare parts, and general office materials while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and compliance with laboratory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for laboratory chemicals, reagents, glassware, consumables, equipment, and spare parts.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with laboratory, quality, accounts, and administration teams to understand purchase requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid laboratory testing delays.
- Verify supplier specifications, product quality, expiry dates, certificates, and relevant documents wherever applicable.
- Maintain purchase orders, quotations, vendor records, invoices, and procurement documentation.




- Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, and reorder requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmation, delivery schedules, and pending materials.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, service, and delivery.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Support internal audits and maintain procurement records in accordance with applicable ISO/IEC 17025 and laboratory quality requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval procedures.
- Prepare periodic purchase reports, cost comparisons, and procurement status updates.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Relevant technical or science qualifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchase operations.
- Experience in laboratory procurement, FMCG, chemical, pharmaceutical, or testing laboratory industries is preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
