1. Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically competent Electrical Engineer for our EV Charger Project. The candidate will supervise assembly operations, ensure product quality, coordinate testing activities, and manage assembly line planning and scheduling. The selected candidate should be willing to take complete responsibility for the assembly line, including manpower coordination, production targets, quality standards, and timely project execution.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Assembly Supervision

Supervise day-to-day assembly activities for EV chargers and related electrical systems.

Monitor electrical assembly, wiring, cable routing, termination, and component mounting.

Ensure assembly work is carried out as per electrical drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and engineering specifications.

Guide technicians, electricians, and fitters to achieve daily production targets.

Monitor work progress and resolve assembly-related issues in coordination with the engineering team.

B. Quality & Testing

Ensure quality checks at different stages of EV charger assembly.

Coordinate functional testing and electrical testing as per approved procedures

Verify wiring, connections, earthing, component fitment, and workmanship.

Identify defects, coordinate rework, and implement corrective actions.

Maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.

Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and approved testing procedures.

C. Assembly Line Planning & Scheduling

Prepare daily and weekly assembly plans based on project requirements and delivery schedules.

Plan manpower, materials, tools,



and equipment to ensure smooth production.

Monitor production progress against planned targets and timelines.

Coordinate material availability with stores and the purchase team.

Identify bottlenecks, minimize assembly delays, and improve productivity.

Take ownership of timely completion and delivery of assembly activities.

D. Cross-Functional Team Coordination

Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Production, and Project teams.

Communicate drawing changes, material shortages, quality issues, and production priorities.

Ensure timely resolution of technical and operational issues.

Provide regular updates on production status, testing progress, pending activities, and project completion.

Work closely with management to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

E. Assembly Line Ownership

Take end-to-end responsibility for the EV charger assembly line.

Establish and monitor daily work priorities and production targets.

Ensure proper utilization of manpower, tools, and resources.

Maintain 5S, workplace discipline, and safety standards.

Drive continuous improvement in assembly processes, productivity, and product quality.

3. Required Technical Skills

Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and electrical components.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.

Exposure to electrical panel assembly, industrial equipment assembly, or EV charger assembly.

Understanding of electrical testing, functional testing, and quality inspection.





Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and shop-floor coordination.

Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Working knowledge of MS Excel for production tracking and reporting.

4. Qualification & Experience

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

1–3 years of relevant experience in electrical assembly, production, testing, or manufacturing.

Exposure to assembly supervision and quality/testing activities is preferred

Experience in EV chargers, electrical panels, power electronics, or industrial electrical equipment will be an advantage.
