We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Fashion News Writer to join our growing editorial team. This role focuses on covering fashion trends, celebrity style, runway highlights, beauty trends, luxury brands, viral fashion moments, and fashion industry news.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of global fashion culture, designer brands, celebrity fashion, and social media trends. They should be able to spot trending stories, monitor online discussions, and quickly turn interesting fashion moments into engaging news articles.

Work Schedule

- Saturday to Wednesday
- 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM (India Standard Time)
- Remote position

Key Responsibilities

- Write original fashion news articles during the scheduled shift.
- Cover fashion trends, celebrity fashion, runway shows, luxury brands, beauty trends, and viral fashion moments.
- Monitor fashion events, social media platforms, Reddit, and celebrity style updates for potential story ideas.
- Identify emerging discussions and trending topics that can be developed into news stories.
- Research stories using credible fashion, entertainment, social media, and news sources.
- Fact-check all information before submission.
- Write clear, engaging, and well-structured articles.
- Create compelling, SEO-friendly headlines.
- Follow editorial guidelines and maintain high editorial standards.
- Meet publishing deadlines and maintain consistent article output.
- Work independently and identify story opportunities with minimal supervision.

Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience in fashion writing, journalism, blogging, digital publishing, or a related field.
- Strong English writing and grammar skills.
- Good understanding of fashion trends, luxury brands, celebrity style, beauty culture, and online fashion communities.
- Ability to identify trending fashion stories, viral moments, and emerging topics quickly.




- Strong research and fact-checking skills.
- Must have an active Reddit account.
- Must have a good understanding of how Reddit works, including subreddits, discussions, comments, upvotes, and trending topics.
- Must be comfortable monitoring and researching Reddit communities for potential fashion story ideas.
- Ability to identify potential story ideas from Reddit and independently verify information through credible sources.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily article production.
- Willingness to work the required Saturday-to-Wednesday schedule and meet publishing deadlines.
- Experience with online publishing platforms or CMS is a plus.
