About the role

The firm is hiring a full-time Finance Manager for its Bengaluru office. The person will manage the finance functions of client organisations, overseeing day-to-day accounting, reporting and compliance on the clients' behalf. The role suits someone with 4-6 years of experience in accounting or finance who can work with minimal supervision and handle client communication.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the finance and accounts function for assigned client organisations, including daily bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports for clients.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and payment processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate GST, TDS and other statutory filings and keep track of compliance deadlines.
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring and variance analysis for clients.
- Review work done by junior staff and provide guidance to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Coordinate with clients' internal teams,



auditors and tax consultants during audits and assessments.
- Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for all transactions and filings.
- Identify gaps in clients' financial processes and suggest practical improvements.

Requirements

- B Com degree or CA Intermediate qualification.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance or a professional services setting.
- Working knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS and other direct and indirect tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or similar, and strong skills in MS Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and meet deadlines.
- Transparent written and spoken communication skills for dealing with clients and team members.
- Willingness to work from the Bengaluru office on a full-time basis.
