Job Description – Quality Engineer

Location: Chinchwad, Pune (Open to Travel)
Experience: 2–3 Years
Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month
Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.E. – Mechanical

Job Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
- Inspect sheet metal components and fabricated parts.
- Check Laser, TIG, and CO₂ welding quality and defects.
- Read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Use Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and inspection fixtures.
- Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and support root cause analysis.
- Ensure quality standards for CNC bending, punching, and pipe bending.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues.

Requirements

- 2–3 years of experience in sheet metal and fabrication quality.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding defects, and inspection techniques.
- DPT/NDT and ISO/AWS standards knowledge is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required.
