Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Costing Engineer – MEPF with a strong background in cost estimation and costing for industrial and EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates, reviewing BOQs, conducting quantity take-offs, analysing rates, and supporting tendering and commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEPF systems for industrial and EPC projects.
- Review drawings, technical specifications, BOQs and tender documents to identify project requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical and other relevant MEP systems.
- Prepare rate analyses, material cost calculations, labour estimates and project costing sheets.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, commercial and project execution teams for accurate cost estimation.
- Assist in preparing tender submissions, commercial proposals and quotations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project specifications and quality standards.




- Maintain estimation records, costing databases and vendor rate comparisons.
- Support management in budget preparation and cost-related decisions.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in MEPF costing, estimation or tendering.
- Experience in industrial projects, EPC companies or MEP contracting firms is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, rate analysis and cost estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Experience in vendor quotation analysis, material costing and subcontractor costing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD and estimation tools will be an advantage.
- Valuable analytical, coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands-on experience in MEPF costing and estimation for industrial projects will be preferred. Experience in EPC project tendering, vendor negotiations and preparation of detailed commercial proposals will be an added advantage.
