Job Purpose

To manage and analyse the financial and commercial aspects of EPC projects, with a focus on working capital, cash flow, project costing, pricing, profitability, and financial planning to support business performance and informed management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Working Capital & Cash Flow: Monitor working capital requirements, cash flow, funds utilisation, receivables, payables, and project-wise fund requirements.

Project Costing & Pricing: Analyse project costs, BOQs, material and manpower costs, overheads, tender pricing, and profit margins to support competitive and profitable project decisions.

Financial Planning & Analysis: Monitor project-wise budgets, actual expenditure, cost variations, profitability, and financial forecasts.

Billing & Commercial Management: Monitor client billing, outstanding payments, retention money, payment terms, and vendor liabilities to improve cash flow and control working capital.

Management Reporting: Prepare financial reports, cash flow projections, cost analysis, and profitability reports to support management decisions.

Financial Control & Compliance: Ensure appropriate financial controls and coordinate accounting, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance activities.

Required Experience & Skills

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 4–5 years of relevant experience,



preferably in an EPC, infrastructure, construction, or engineering company.

Strong practical understanding of working capital management, cash flow planning, project costing, pricing, and profitability analysis.

Experience in analysing project financials, commercial terms, billing cycles, receivables, and payables.

- Good understanding of tender costing, cost estimates, budgets, and financial

risk assessment.

- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting and

ERP/accounting systems.

- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and commercial decision-support

capabilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience : 4 to 5 years, as CA.
