Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Analyst specialising in SAP Group Reporting, Finance Integration and financial-reporting transformation.

The role will support the implementation of system, data and hierarchy changes associated with IFRS 18 and the transition from the existing FBW solution to the future SAP Group Reporting solution.

The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Group Reporting, Consolidation, Accounting Policy, Reporting and Technology teams to ensure accurate financial-data flows, reporting structures, segment information and consolidation outputs.

Candidates with experience in SAP Group Reporting, financial consolidation, enterprise financial reporting and SAP FI integration are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the design and implementation of finance-system changes required for IFRS 18 reporting.
- Analyse the impact of IFRS 18 requirements on finance processes, data structures, reporting models and hierarchies.
- Deliver system, data and hierarchy changes across the existing FBW solution and SAP Group Reporting.
- Support the transition to the future Group Reporting solution.
- Translate accounting and external-reporting requirements into functional system solutions.
- Support changes to financial-statement structures, reporting dimensions, consolidation units and reporting hierarchies.
- Define and validate data-mapping requirements between SAP FI, Central Finance, FBW and Group Reporting.
- Ensure accurate flow of General Ledger and sub-ledger information into consolidation and reporting solutions.
- Support business-segment resegmentation and validate revised segment structures in external financial reporting.




- Assess the impact of segment changes on master data, transactional data, allocations, eliminations, consolidation and disclosures.
- Support financial-reporting controls, reconciliation processes and data-validation activities.
- Prepare functional specifications, solution designs, user stories and data-mapping documents.
- Develop and execute functional, integration, consolidation and reporting test scenarios.
- Support data migration, cutover, go-live and post-implementation hypercare.
- Investigate reporting and integration issues and coordinate resolution across Finance and Technology teams.
- Maintain solution documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to operational-support teams.

Required Skills and Experience

- Typically 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance, Group Reporting, consolidation or financial-reporting transformation.
- Solid experience in SAP Group Reporting, financial consolidation or enterprise financial-reporting solutions.
- Good functional knowledge of SAP FI and General Ledger integration.
- Experience with financial-data models, reporting dimensions, master data and hierarchy management.
- Understanding of consolidation processes, including:
- Currency translation
- Intercompany matching and eliminations
- Group adjustments
- Consolidation reporting




- Experience translating accounting and external-reporting requirements into system and data changes.
- Strong knowledge of financial-reporting controls, reconciliation and data validation.
- Experience supporting complex finance transformation or reporting programmes.
- Ability to work effectively with Accounting Policy, Group Finance, Consolidation, Reporting and Technology stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to financial and data accuracy.

Desirable Skills

- Practical knowledge of IFRS 18 implementation requirements and their impact on financial statements and disclosures.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP Central Finance.
- Exposure to SAP BW, BPC or similar financial-reporting and consolidation platforms.
- Experience delivering segment-reporting or organisational resegmentation changes.
- Experience within large multinational organisations.
- Accounting qualification or relevant SAP certification.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related discipline.

Professional qualifications such as CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA are advantageous.
