About the Role:

We are looking for an AI/ML Developer to build and maintain the software platform, an AI-based railway inspection system that analyses camera footage to support wagon seal inspection, security monitoring, and automated reporting.

The role combines computer vision, GPU inference, backend APIs, cloud infrastructure, and dashboard development. You will work on the complete workflow—from receiving videos from field devices to processing them on NVIDIA GPUs and presenting inspection results through a web dashboard.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and improve computer vision models for detecting wagons, locks, seals, and relevant inspection events using YOLO, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
- Build reliable video upload and ingestion APIs for footage received from multiple field locations.
- Implement task queues and persistent GPU workers that load models once and reuse them across multiple videos.
- Optimise video decoding, inference, batching, and GPU utilisation to reduce processing time and manage simultaneous workloads.
- Coordinate processing across Raspberry Pi devices, CPU servers, cloud infrastructure, and NVIDIA DGX GPU systems.
- Develop REST APIs for video submission, job status, inspection results, alerts, and dashboard integration.
- Build and maintain dashboards for video playback, inspection review, alerts, site health,



and reporting.
- Design databases for camera information, video metadata, processing status, detections, and inspection history.
- Deploy and maintain services using Linux, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Implement authentication, access controls, logging, monitoring, retries, and recovery from network or service failures.
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with the field deployment and research teams.

Required Skills

- Strong Python programming skills and experience developing maintainable applications.
- Practical experience with computer vision, object detection, and video processing using PyTorch, YOLO, OpenCV, or equivalent tools.
- Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Working knowledge of NVIDIA GPUs, CUDA, and GPU-based model deployment.
- Experience with asynchronous processing, background workers, and task queues such as Celery, Redis, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
- Familiarity with cloud services for compute, storage, networking, and deployment.
- Proficiency with Linux, Docker, Git, and debugging production applications.




- Ability to develop or integrate web dashboards using JavaScript/TypeScript and a framework such as React.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with NVIDIA DGX/A100 systems, TensorRT, ONNX, or Triton Inference Server.
- Knowledge of FFmpeg, RTSP, H.264/H.265, and IP camera video pipelines.
- Experience with AWS EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Experience deploying AI applications on Raspberry Pi or NVIDIA Jetson devices.
- Knowledge of OCR, tracking, vision-language models, or railway/industrial inspection applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring tools, and automated deployment.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science, AI/ML, Electronics, or a related discipline. Candidates with equivalent practical experience and strong relevant projects are also encouraged to apply.
