- Installation & Assembly: Build, wire, and terminate control panels, printed circuit boards (PCBs), cable harnesses, and electronic sub-assemblies based on technical drawings and schematics. [1]
- Testing & Calibration: Set up specialized test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, process calibrators, HART communicators) to run diagnostics, loop checks, and performance tests. [1, 2, 3]
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose electronic, electrical, and pneumatic malfunctions down to the component level and replace faulty parts to minimize system downtime. [1, 2, 3]
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and calibration of machinery, sensors, actuators, and power circuits. [1, 2, 3]
- Documentation & Collaboration: Log maintenance activities, update equipment history, record calibration results, and work closely with electrical and controls engineers. [1, 2, 3]
- Safety Compliance: Follow strict workplace safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrostatic discharge (ESD) control, and personal protective equipment (PPE) standards. [1, 2]
