- Design and development of hydraulic, industrial and oilfield hose assemblies.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models and engineering layouts.
- Develop hose assembly designs as per customer specifications and applicable standards.
- Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs and technical datasheets.
- Select appropriate hose, fittings, adapters, ferrules, couplings and other components.
- Carry out basic pressure, flow, temperature, bend radius and dimensional calculations.
- Study customer drawings, specifications, RFQs and technical requirements.
- Support the sales and production teams with technical solutions.
- Develop current products and improve existing hose assembly designs.
- Prepare technical documentation for inspection, testing and quality control.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, quality and testing departments.
- Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues and field failures.
- Maintain engineering drawings, revision control and technical records.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable SAE, API, ISO and other relevant standards.
