Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and proactive Accounts Executive – Product Support & Customization to manage day-to-day accounting operations while providing customer support and product customization services. The ideal candidate should have a positive understanding of accounting principles, hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Tally, ERPNext, or other accounting software, and strong communication skills to interact with customers and understand their requirements.

The role involves handling accounting entries, invoicing, GST-related activities, and financial documentation, along with customizing products using utility software, assisting customers, and resolving product-related queries.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & ERP Operations

- Handle daily sales and purchase entries in Tally, ERPNext, or other ERP/accounting software.
- Prepare invoices, delivery challans, payment receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer account records.
- Perform bank reconciliation, ledger verification, and account balance checks.
- Manage GST-related entries and assist with basic GST compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation of courier dispatches, received materials, inventory, and service entries.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and other accounting records.
- Maintain accurate records of warranty, service, and inventory transactions within the ERP system.

2. Product Support & Customization

- Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls to understand requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Customize products using utility software based on customer-specific requirements.
- Understand client needs and configure product features and settings accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with customers to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Train customers on product usage, features, and functionality.




- Troubleshoot product-related issues and coordinate with the relevant team to resolve them promptly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, product configurations, service requests, and feedback.
- Provide basic technical and functional support related to product usage and customization.

3. Coordination & Documentation

- Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding accounts, payments, invoices, and related queries.
- Maintain organized records of accounting transactions, product configurations, customer requests, and service activities.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting and customer support tasks.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth accounting operations and effective customer service.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com or equivalent preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, ERP operations, customer support, or a related role. Freshers with strong practical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also apply.
- Working knowledge of Tally, ERP systems (ERPNext preferred), and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST, taxation, invoicing, and accounting principles.
- Ability to use utility software for product configuration and customization, or willingness to learn.
- Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid customer-handling, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach to work.

Preferred Skills

- Experience handling inventory, service entries, and warranty tracking in ERP systems.
- Familiarity with product customization, software configuration, or technical support.
- Ability to explain product features and train customers effectively.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage accounting tasks and customer support responsibilities efficiently.
