A shadow teacher has to provide, real-time academic, behavioral, and social support to a child with special needs (such as Autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities) within a mainstream, inclusive classroom setting. Their primary goal is to foster independence, enabling the student to participate actively in school without becoming solely dependent on the aide.

- Academic Support: Modify and simplify lesson plans as needed, assist with tasks, and provide one-on-one help to ensure the student stays on track with the curriculum.
- Behavioral Management: Implement behavior management strategies, such as positive reinforcement, to help the child manage impulsivity, anxiety, or attention issues.
- Social & Emotional Support: Facilitate peer interactions, teach social skills, and provide emotional support to build the child's confidence and self-esteem.
- Collaboration:



Work closely with the main classroom teacher, special educators, therapists (OT, Speech), and parents to implement the child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
- Data Collection & Reporting: Monitor progress by recording daily/weekly observations and sharing them with parents and school staff.
- Safety & Supervision: Ensure the child’s safety during school hours, including in the classroom, on the playground, or during transportation.

Eligibility criteria- psychology background, BA, MA , MSC or Diploma in psychology. English proficiency is must

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
