About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities for restaurant operations, ensuring the timely availability of quality raw materials, food ingredients, beverages, kitchen supplies, and other operational essentials at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities for restaurant operations.
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for the best prices, quality, and payment terms.
- Procure food ingredients, vegetables, fruits, meat, dairy products, beverages, packaging materials, and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain vendor relationships and develop a reliable supplier network.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock consumption, and reorder requirements to avoid shortages and wastage.
- Ensure the quality, freshness, and timely delivery of perishable and non-perishable items.
- Compare quotations, prepare purchase orders, and maintain purchase records and invoices.
- Coordinate with chefs, kitchen staff, storekeepers, and accounts teams.




- Control procurement costs and minimize wastage while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with food safety and storage requirements.
- Conduct regular market price comparisons and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the restaurant, hotel, or food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food ingredients, kitchen supplies, vendor management, and market pricing.
- Valuable negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and purchase documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase or inventory management software.

Preferred Candidate

A proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong vendor networks, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage restaurant procurement efficiently while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
