JOB DESCRIPTION – 3D VISUALIZER / BIM MODELER

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior 3D Visualizer / BIM Modeler to support our architectural and interior design team. The candidate will be responsible for developing 3D architectural and interior models, preparing realistic renders, and creating BIM models based on design drawings and project specifications. The role also involves converting 2D drawings into accurate 3D models, updating models based on design revisions, coordinating with design teams, and supporting project presentations to ensure clear visualization and effective project coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Create 3D models of architectural spaces, interior layouts, furniture, fixtures, and joinery elements based on project requirements.
- Convert 2D drawings, sketches, and design concepts into accurate 3D models.
- Prepare realistic 3D renders, walkthroughs, and presentation visuals as required.
- Develop and maintain BIM models using Revit or other relevant modelling software.
- Apply appropriate materials, textures, lighting, colours, and finishes to produce high-quality visualizations.
- Develop interior and architectural models in accordance with approved drawings, design specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and MEP teams to ensure consistency across design models.
- Update 3D and BIM models based on design changes, client feedback, and revisions received from the design team.
- Identify basic modelling errors, dimensional inconsistencies, and potential clashes in drawings and models.




- Support model coordination and clash detection activities under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in preparing design presentations, 3D views, rendered images, and visual documentation for client meetings.
- Ensure model accuracy and maintain organized project files, folders, and drawing revisions.
- Follow project standards, modelling guidelines, and documentation procedures.
- Coordinate with senior designers and project teams to clarify design requirements and resolve modelling-related issues.
- Ensure assigned modelling and visualization tasks are completed within the specified timelines.
- Stay updated with current tools, software features, and industry practices related to 3D visualization and BIM modelling.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- Basic knowledge of architectural design, interior design, and 3D modelling.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and interior layouts.
- Familiarity with 3D modelling and rendering software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Enscape, Lumion, or V-Ray.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for reading drawings and understanding dimensions.
- Understanding of materials, textures, lighting, finishes, and furniture detailing.




- Basic knowledge of BIM concepts, model development, and project documentation.
- Ability to convert 2D drawings into accurate 3D architectural and interior models.
- Knowledge of model coordination and clash detection will be an advantage, particularly for BIM-focused roles.
- Good visual presentation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong willingness to learn new software, tools, and modelling techniques.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with the design team.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Basic problem-solving skills and an interest in architectural visualization and BIM technology.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in 3D visualization, architectural modelling, interior modelling, or BIM modelling.
- Freshers with relevant software knowledge, training, internships, or a strong portfolio may also apply.
- Basic hands-on knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar modelling tools.
- Experience in preparing 3D renders, interior visualizations, or architectural models will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows, model coordination, and clash detection is desirable for BIM-focused candidates.
- A portfolio of academic projects, personal projects, or qualified work demonstrating 3D modelling and visualization skills will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
