1. Role Overview

We are looking for a technically strong and customer-focused Product Manager for an Edge Management Platform (EMP) to drive the product strategy, roadmap, and evolution of a platform that simplifies application deployment and management across distributed infrastructure environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with technical platforms such as cloud infrastructure, virtualisation, hypervisors, Kubernetes, container platforms, or infrastructure management solutions.

Prior experience in Edge Computing is not mandatory. However, candidates must demonstrate robust technical platform understanding, sound product management capabilities, and the ability to translate complex infrastructure challenges into simple, scalable, and user-friendly product experiences.

The role requires a product owner who can make independent prioritisation decisions, understand customer needs, collaborate closely with engineering teams, and deliver measurable business and technical outcomes.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and feature priorities in alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Technical Platform Ownership: Develop a strong understanding of the underlying infrastructure, including cloud platforms, hypervisors, Kubernetes, virtualisation, and application deployment technologies.
- Customer Experience: Identify opportunities to simplify application deployment,



infrastructure management, monitoring, and operational workflows for application teams.
- Self-Service & Automation: Drive product capabilities such as self-service provisioning, API-based integrations, automated deployments, resource management, and lifecycle operations.
- Product Prioritisation: Evaluate competing requirements and balance new features against reliability, scalability, security, automation, and technical debt.
- Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, architecture, design, and operations teams to define requirements, evaluate dependencies, and guide implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Gather and prioritise input from customers, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and other product teams.
- Platform Reliability: Ensure product decisions support operational visibility, failure handling, resilience, and consistent management across distributed environments.
- Product Delivery & Outcomes: Define success metrics, monitor adoption and performance, and use customer feedback and measurable results to improve the platform continuously.

3. Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

- 9+ years of experience
- Cloud platforms and infrastructure management.
- Virtualisation technologies and hypervisors.
- Kubernetes, containers, and orchestration platforms.
- Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
- Application deployment, monitoring,



provisioning, and lifecycle management.
- Distributed systems, APIs, and automation frameworks.
- Understanding of how application platforms interact with underlying infrastructure.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and platform capabilities in simple, business-oriented language.

Product Management Skills

- Demonstrated ownership of product strategy, roadmap, prioritisation, and product decisions.
- Experience translating user problems into product features, requirements, and capabilities.
- Ability to balance customer requests, engineering constraints, technical improvements, and business priorities.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience defining product success metrics and evaluating outcomes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

4. Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will:

- Have worked as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Platform Product Manager, or in a comparable product ownership role.
- Have hands-on exposure to infrastructure-related products or technically complex platforms.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of platform users, their challenges, and the value delivered by the product.
- Show evidence of making product decisions rather than solely coordinating engineering delivery, managing sprints, or tracking project milestones.
- Be comfortable applying experience from cloud, Kubernetes, virtualisation, or infrastructure platforms to new problem spaces, including Edge Management.

Note: Direct Edge Computing experience is an advantage, not a mandatory requirement.

Pay: Up to ₹4,500,000.00 per year
