Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AS9100D Internal Auditor to plan, conduct, and report internal audits in accordance with AS9100D, ISO 9001, and regulatory aerospace requirements. The role ensures compliance, drives continuous improvement, and supports certification and customer audits.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct internal audits as per AS9100D and ISO 9001 requirements
- Prepare annual audit plans, audit checklists, and audit reports
- Identify non-conformities, observations, and improvement opportunities
- Verify root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions (CAPA)
- Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective closure
- Support external audits (certification bodies, customer, and regulatory audits)
- Ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory requirements (e.g., customer-specific requirements, FAR/DFAR where applicable)
- Maintain audit records and quality documentation
- Provide guidance and training to teams on AS9100D compliance and best practices
- Support risk-based thinking, process approach,



and continual improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Certified AS9100D / ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (mandatory)
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing
- Strong understanding of:
- AS9100D clauses and intent
- Process audits, risk management, and configuration management
- Supplier quality and control of external providers
- Experience with audit reporting, CAPA, and management review inputs

Preferred Skills

- Lead Auditor certification (AS9100D / ISO 9001)
- Exposure to NADCAP, customer audits, or regulatory audits
- Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC (aerospace/manufacturing context)
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
