Job Overview We are looking for a CAD Technician / Mechanical Design professional with a Mechanical Engineering background and hands-on experience in AutoCAD, Creo or similar CAD tools. The candidate will support the engineering team in designing and developing electronic products, jigs, mounting fixtures, mechanisms and other product related projects. The candidate gets the opportunity to develop new and innovative products from scratch and design them to perform in the most challenging environments Key Responsibilities • Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings. • Develop mechanical components, assemblies and machine structures based on engineering requirements. • Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings. • Create and modify designs using AutoCAD, Creo or equivalent CAD software. • Prepare drawings for: o Machine structures o Fixtures and jigs o Brackets o Mounting systems o Panels and enclosures o Sheet-metal components o Mechanical assemblies o Machine guards and covers • Convert sketches, concepts and engineering requirements into accurate CAD models and drawings. • Prepare assembly drawings and detailed part drawings. • Apply appropriate dimensions, tolerances and drawing standards. • Assist engineers in developing mechanical concepts and design solutions. • Make design changes based on engineering, manufacturing and customer requirements. • Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and related engineering documentation. • Coordinate with fabrication, machining and other vendors for manufacturing requirements.



• Review drawings with engineers and incorporate required modifications. • Support prototype development, assembly and testing activities. • Assist during installation and modification of machines when required. • Maintain proper drawing revisions and engineering documentation. • Coordinate with electrical, electronics and automation teams for mechanical integration. CAD / Software Skills Mandatory / Strong working knowledge: • AutoCAD • Creo / Creo Parametric • Knowledge of rapid prototyping, injection molding and die casting technologies is a must Additional CAD tools will be an advantage: • SolidWorks • Autodesk Inventor • Fusion 360 • CATIA or similar 3D CAD tools • Knowledge of Stress, Strain, CFD & Mechanisms simulations a plus. Mechanical Engineering Skills The candidate should have practical knowledge of: • Mechanical drafting • Engineering drawings • GD&T; • Dimensioning and tolerancing • Sheet-metal design • Machining • Fabrication • Welding • Fasteners • Bearings and shafts • Basic machine design • Standard mechanical components • Basic pneumatic/mechanical systems Automation Exposure Experience or understanding of industrial automation, robotics, material handling equipment,



inspection systems or machine-building projects will be an advantage. Required Qualification Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience 3+ years of relevant experience in: • Mechanical CAD • Machine Design • CAD Drafting • Industrial Automation • Mechanical Engineering Design Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be: • Solid in mechanical CAD and engineering drawings. • Hands-on with AutoCAD and Creo. • Detail-oriented and accurate. • Able to understand engineering concepts and convert them into drawings. • Familiar with manufacturing and fabrication processes. • Comfortable working with engineers, vendors and fabrication teams. • Interested in machine design, automation and industrial engineering. • Able to work independently and meet project deadlines. • Creating rendered images of product concepts, representing the product at expos, marketing platforms etc would be a plus. Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
