About the Role

Amara Portico is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our hotel kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Indian and multi-cuisine food, solid kitchen discipline, and the ability to maintain consistent food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food as per SOPs, hotel standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines.
- Handle Indian, Chinese, Continental and basic multi-cuisine preparations.
- Fast and tasty cooking, quality, portion size, and presentation.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
- Monitor food stock, ingredients, and kitchen supplies and minimize wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
- Support the team during breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets,



and high-volume operations.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Chef/Cook in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of Indian cuisine; knowledge of multi-cuisine is an advantage.
- Experience in hotel or banquet kitchen operations will be preferred.

Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and skill level.
