Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible CSSD Technician to handle the cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment to ensure patient safety and infection control.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean, disinfect, inspect, and sterilize medical instruments and surgical equipment.
* Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including autoclaves.
* Pack and prepare sterile instruments and surgical trays.
* Maintain proper sterilization records and documentation.
* Follow hospital infection control policies and standard operating procedures.
* Ensure proper storage and distribution of sterile supplies to hospital departments.
* Monitor sterilization cycles and maintain quality standards.
* Handle instruments carefully and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Relevant qualification or certification in CSSD / Sterilization Technology.
* 1–2 years of experience in a hospital CSSD department.
* Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention practices.
* Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work in shifts and coordinate with nursing and operation theatre staff.
