Transport & Logistics Supervisor – Sambalpur, Odisha

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to independently manage and smoothly operate our fleet in Sambalpur, Odisha.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily vehicle alignment and deployment as per route and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with and manage drivers to ensure timely reporting and smooth vehicle operations.
- Monitor vehicle movement, GPS tracking, delays, route issues, breakdowns and replacements.
- Ensure timely maintenance, servicing and repairs of all vehicles and follow up with workshops/mechanics to ensure vehicles remain operational.
- Identify vehicle maintenance requirements and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out on time to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
- Coordinate with DCs, clients, drivers, maintenance teams, workshops and vendors for smooth operations.
- Handle breakdowns and emergency situations and arrange vehicle/driver replacements whenever required.




- Ensure proper utilization and availability of vehicles and minimize operational delays.
- Maintain daily operational and maintenance records and provide updates to management.
- Independently coordinate and manage local fleet operations in Sambalpur and nearby areas.

Candidate Requirements:

- Experience in logistics/fleet/transport operations preferred.
- Good knowledge of Sambalpur and nearby local routes/areas.
- Must know driving and be comfortable driving vehicles such as Bolero/Pickup whenever required.
- Should be capable of independently handling drivers, vehicles and basic operational issues.
- Should be able to coordinate and get vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance work done on time.
- Positive communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work in a field/operational environment and handle emergency situations.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
