Job Description: Java Spring Boot Developer (Remote | Project-Based)

About the Role

Digital Innovations is looking for a skilled and motivated Java Spring Boot Developer to work with us on a project basis. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Java backend development, REST APIs, database management, and application integration. This is a remote opportunity for developers who can independently deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and secure API practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs and frontend applications.
- Debug issues, optimize performance, and ensure code quality.
- Follow clean coding practices, maintain documentation, and use Git for version control.
- Coordinate remotely with the team and provide regular project progress updates.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, and collections.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Experience in REST API development and integration.




- Knowledge of SQL databases and database design.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and Postman.
- Understanding of exception handling, validation, and application security.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Spring Security and JWT authentication.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker, cloud deployment, and CI/CD.
- Experience integrating Java backends with React, Vue.js, or mobile applications.

Work Arrangement

- Fully remote, with no daily office attendance required.
- Work will be assigned according to project requirements.
- Payment will be based on mutually agreed project scope, milestones, or deliverables.
- Developers must provide regular progress updates and meet agreed deadlines.
