Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support and manage day-to-day retail operations across multiple stores. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring store performance, ensuring operational excellence, coordinating with store managers, managing staff productivity, and implementing company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

- Oversee daily operations across assigned retail stores and ensure smooth functioning.
- Conduct regular store visits to monitor operational standards, staff discipline, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, grooming standards, and operational guidelines.
- Monitor store opening and closing procedures and overall store readiness.

2. Sales & Business Performance

- Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets.
- Analyse sales reports, conversion rates, average transaction value, and staff productivity.
- Coordinate with store managers to achieve sales targets and improve business performance.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.

3. Team Management

- Coordinate with store managers, assistant store managers, and sales executives.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, leave management, and staff deployment.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of retail employees.
- Address employee concerns and ensure proper communication between stores and head office.

4. Inventory & Stock Management

- Monitor stock availability, inventory movement, and replenishment requirements.
- Ensure proper handling of stock transfers, inward and outward entries, and physical stock audits.
- Coordinate with the inventory and warehouse teams to minimise stock discrepancies and losses.
- Ensure proper product display, visual merchandising, and store presentation.

5. Reporting & Coordination





- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Maintain store performance trackers, attendance records, and audit reports.
- Coordinate with HR, finance, merchandising, and supply chain teams.
- Report operational challenges and recommend process improvements to senior management.

6. Customer Experience & Compliance

- Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer complaints.
- Maintain brand standards and a qualified retail environment.
- Monitor store audits, cash-handling procedures, and compliance with company policies.
- Implement management instructions and ensure timely execution at store level.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in retail operations, preferably in fashion, apparel, lifestyle, or branded retail.
- Experience coordinating multiple stores or managing store-level teams will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sales reports, inventory management, store operations, and team handling.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and retail reporting systems.
- Willingness to travel to stores as per business requirements.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
