Job Summary

Medpark Hospital is looking for a qualified and responsible Biomedical Engineer to manage the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety of medical equipment to ensure smooth hospital operations and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot medical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical devices.
- Coordinate with equipment vendors and service engineers for repairs and calibration.
- Maintain equipment inventory, service records, maintenance logs, and warranty details.
- Ensure medical equipment is safe, functional, and available for clinical use.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate timely resolution.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and hospital protocols.
- Support equipment procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Train clinical staff on the safe handling and basic operation of medical equipment.




- Coordinate with clinical departments and hospital administration for biomedical equipment requirements.

Candidate Profile

- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience; hospital experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with hospital equipment such as patient monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, ECG machines, defibrillators, and other critical-care devices.
- Good coordination, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to respond to equipment emergencies and work collaboratively with clinical teams.
