Position: Sr. Engineer (Mechanical) / Assistant Manager (P&E;)

Department: Plant & Equipment (P&E;)

Industry: Heavy Civil Infrastructure / Railway Tunnel Projects

Location: Manipur – Noney Market Site

Experience: 5–8 Years

Job Responsibilities

Manage the operation, maintenance, and repair of heavy construction equipment and machinery at the project site.

Plan and monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.

Oversee equipment deployment, utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.

Coordinate with site teams for machinery availability and operational requirements.

Supervise mechanics, technicians, operators, and equipment maintenance activities.

Monitor equipment performance, maintenance costs, spare parts inventory, and service schedules.

Ensure compliance with equipment safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs, spare parts, and technical support.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly equipment performance and maintenance reports.

Ensure optimum utilization and availability of plant and machinery for railway tunnel construction activities.





Eligibility & Requirements

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.

5–8 years of relevant experience in Plant & Equipment management, preferably in heavy civil construction, tunnelling, railway, or infrastructure projects.

Hands-on experience with heavy construction equipment, maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and equipment management.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance, spare parts management, equipment costing, and fuel monitoring.

Strong coordination, team management, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work at the Manipur project site.
