1. Precision Metrology Perform dimensional and geometrical inspection of precision steel balls. Check ball diameter, diameter variation, sphericity/roundness, surface roughness, form error and waviness wherever applicable. Independently operate precision measuring equipment and understand micron-level measurement and measurement uncertainty. Compare results against drawings, customer specifications and applicable standards.

2. Roundness & Surface Analysis - Hands-on knowledge of Roundness/Form Testers, Surface Roughness Testers/Profilometers, high-precision micrometers, dial/electronic comparators and profile measuring equipment. Set up components correctly, select appropriate filters/cut-offs, obtain repeatable measurements and interpret graphs/reports. Identify abnormal profiles,



trends and measurement-system issues.

7. Quality Problem Solving

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy and repeatability of laboratory measurements.

- Timely completion of inspection/testing and zero release of non-conforming material due to laboratory error.

Calibration compliance and MSA/Gauge R&R; compliance. Laboratory report turnaround time and customer/internal measurement correlation. Root-cause identification effectiveness, laboratory 5S/equipment condition and reduction in repeat quality problems.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
