We are looking for a qualified and experienced English and Mathematics Tutor to provide personalised educational support to a Grade 6 student following the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) curriculum.
The tutor should be confident in teaching both English and Mathematics, helping the student strengthen subject knowledge, improve academic performance, and develop independent learning skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English and Mathematics according to the Grade 6 MYP curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans tailored to the student's learning needs.
- Support homework, assignments, assessments, and exam preparation.
- Strengthen conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor the student's progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the student's learning pace and requirements.
Requirements
- Strong subject knowledge in English and Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Grade 6 students, preferably with the IB MYP curriculum.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Patient, supportive, and student-focused approach.
- Experience as a Special Educator or familiarity with diverse learning needs will be an added advantage.
Work Details
- Location: Carter Road, Bandra West, Mumbai
- Schedule: Twice a week
- Salary: Good remuneration, based on experience and suitability.
Pay: ₹1.00 - ₹2.00 per year
