WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're hiring BCA, MCA, or Computer Science graduates and final-year students — not BBA/MBA candidates for this cycle. A CS background gives us three things a marketing degree doesn't reliably guarantee: comfort with technology, faster fluency with AI tools, and logical thinking. With AI reshaping how marketing and outreach actually get done, tech-savvy candidates now have a real edge over traditional marketing graduates — that's the trade we're making.
These are freshers, so we are not expecting prior marketing or sales knowledge. What we're screening for instead:
- Tech aptitude — genuine comfort with technology and a fast learning curve on new tools/platforms.
- AI fluency — working knowledge of tools like ChatGPT, Canva AI, or similar; comfort experimenting with AI-generated content is a strong plus.
- Ambition & sharpness — candidates who are sharp, proactive, and visibly hungry to grow — not just polished in an interview.
- Communication — explicit spoken and written English; this remains non-negotiable regardless of domain background.
Selection basis for these two roles: communication, tech aptitude, and attitude/ambition — evaluated through conversation and a short practical task, not resume-listed marketing knowledge.
THE TWO ROLES
1. Social Media Intern
- Manage day-to-day social media output in coordination with the creative team.
- Use AI tools to speed up content ideation, copy drafts, and light editing.
- Track platform and content trends across Instagram/LinkedIn and flag relevant formats.
- Assist with basic performance reporting on posted content.
2. Business Development Intern
- Support outreach for HML's agency services and in-house products.
- Assist with lead generation, follow-ups, and maintaining outreach/CRM trackers.
- Help prepare pitch material and research prospects ahead of outreach.
- Report directly on outreach activity and learnings from candidate conversations.
