We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented EDM Machine Operator to operate Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) machines and manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Operate EDM machines to manufacture precision components as per specifications.
*Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining instructions.
Set up the machine, select suitable electrodes or wires, and adjust machining parameters as required.
*Monitor machine operations and ensure dimensional accuracy.
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
*Maintain the required tolerances and surface finish.
*Identify machining problems and report machine faults to the supervisor.
*Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
*Follow production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
*Maintain proper records of production and machine operations.
