About AOHC

Art of Healing Cancer (AOHC) is an integrative oncology centre focused on personalised cancer care. We bring together conventional oncology, precision diagnostics, supportive therapies and evidence-informed integrative approaches to develop individualised care plans.

We work with patients from India and across the world, including those undergoing treatment for advanced-stage cancers. Our patients and their families often need extra support and a reliable team around them, and every member of our staff plays a part in making their experience smooth and comfortable.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dependable, energetic and polite Hospital Runner to support the day-to-day running of our clinic. The candidate will work closely with our doctors, nurses, front-desk and administrative team, carrying out errands, coordination tasks and patient assistance so that clinical staff can focus on patient care.

The role requires punctuality, responsibility, good communication skills and a caring attitude towards patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Sample and Report Handling: Carry blood samples and other specimens to the laboratory or collection points, and collect and deliver reports to the clinical team promptly and safely.

Pharmacy and Supplies: Collect medicines, consumables and supplies from the pharmacy or vendors as instructed,

and ensure they reach the right department on time.

Document Movement: Deliver patient files, prescriptions, forms and records between departments, and ensure documents are handled carefully and kept confidential.

Patient Assistance: Guide patients and attendants to consultation rooms, diagnostic areas and the billing counter, and assist elderly or unwell patients with wheelchairs or walking support where needed.

Coordination with Staff: Pass on messages and requests between doctors, nurses, front desk and other teams, and follow instructions accurately.

Outside Errands: Handle external tasks such as visits to diagnostic labs, banks, courier pickup or drop-off and other official errands, as assigned.

Front-Desk and Admin Support: Assist with photocopying, scanning, filing and organising documents.

Hygiene and Safety: Follow hospital hygiene, infection-control and safety protocols, and handle samples and medical items with care.

Patient and Family Support: Be patient, courteous and respectful with patients and caregivers, including international patients and their families, and escalate concerns to the appropriate team member.

Eligibility and Qualifications

12th pass or equivalent; graduates are also welcome to apply.

1-2 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, diagnostic lab or similar setting is preferred. Freshers with a strong attitude and willingness to learn may also apply.

Ability to read and communicate in Hindi; basic English is an advantage.

Familiarity with Gurugram and nearby areas.

Basic smartphone skills (calls, WhatsApp, maps).

A valid driving licence and two-wheeler is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Previous experience as a hospital runner, ward assistant, lab assistant, peon or office assistant.

Physically fit and comfortable with walking, standing and moving between departments through the day.

Punctual, honest and reliable, with respect for patient confidentiality.

Calm and compassionate when dealing with patients and families going through a difficult time.

Willingness to follow instructions carefully and learn from the clinical and administrative team.

Important Expectations

The Hospital Runner works as part of the clinical support team. Samples, reports and patient documents must be handled with care, delivered on time and kept confidential. The role involves interacting with patients who may be unwell or anxious, so patience, courtesy and sensitivity are essential.

If you are dependable, hardworking and want to be part of a caring, multidisciplinary team supporting people through cancer care, we would love to hear from you.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
