Udhi Eye Hospitals is looking for a qualified and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be committed to providing high-quality eye care, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients, diagnose eye conditions, and provide appropriate treatment.
- Manage common ophthalmic conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disorders, as per qualifications and expertise.
- Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the area of specialization.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Review diagnostic investigations and recommend suitable treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate with optometrists, nurses, and other hospital staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS with MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Medical Council/National Medical Register, as applicable.
- Relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-focused approach and commitment to clinical quality.
