Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Fighting CAD Detailer to join our team in Baner, Pune. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate fire protection system drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable fire safety codes, and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare fire fighting system layouts and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop sprinkler layouts, hydrant systems, hose reel layouts, and fire protection piping drawings.
- Prepare piping layouts, sections, elevations, and equipment installation details.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for fire fighting coordination.
- Identify and resolve clashes with other building services, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Prepare shop drawings and construction drawings as per project requirements.
- Revise drawings based on engineer comments and project updates.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with applicable fire safety codes and project standards.
- Coordinate with engineers and other discipline teams to meet project deadlines.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in fire fighting drafting and detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, and fire fighting piping.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of fire fighting symbols, piping layouts, and relevant codes and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial building projects.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and relevant local fire safety regulations.
- Experience coordinating fire fighting drawings with other MEP disciplines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
