Job Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise all transportation and fleet operations across construction sites, blue metals units, and RMC plants.
- Plan and allocate vehicles, tippers, trucks, transit mixers, and other transport equipment based on operational requirements.
- Ensure timely transportation of construction materials, aggregates, blue metals, and RMC to project sites and customers.
- Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, mileage, maintenance costs, and transportation expenses.
- Coordinate with site engineers, plant managers, project teams, drivers, and logistics personnel.
- Schedule preventive maintenance and ensure all vehicles are in good working condition.
- Monitor driver attendance, discipline, route compliance, and vehicle documentation.
- Ensure vehicle permits, insurance, fitness certificates, pollution certificates, and driving licences are valid.
- Maintain daily vehicle movement reports, trip sheets, fuel records, and transportation cost reports.
- Control unnecessary fuel expenses, vehicle idling, breakdowns, and operational delays.
- Ensure compliance with road safety rules, transport regulations, and company policies.
- Handle transport-related issues, breakdowns, accidents, and emergency requirements.
- Prepare monthly transport performance reports and submit them to management.

Required Skills

- Strong fleet management and logistics planning skills.
- Knowledge of construction transportation, blue metals, and RMC operations.
- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fuel management,



and cost control.
- Strong leadership, team management, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vehicles, drivers, plants, and project sites.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and transport reporting.

Qualification & Experience

- Any Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in transport or fleet management, preferably in construction, infrastructure, blue metals, or RMC industries.
- Experience managing heavy vehicles, tippers, transit mixers, and construction equipment transportation will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
