POSITION OVERVIEW

Golchha Construction is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to conduct route surveys, tower location surveys, foundation layouts, alignment verification, and construction-related surveying activities. The candidate will be responsible for accurate field measurements, operation of surveying instruments, preparation of survey records, and coordination with project, civil, and engineering teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Route & Alignment Survey

- Conduct transmission line route surveys and identify site obstacles.
- Verify and mark route alignment, tower locations, coordinates, chainage, and levels.
- Establish centerlines, benchmarks, and reference points as per approved drawings.

Survey Instruments

- Operate Total Station, Auto Level, DGPS/GPS
- Maintain instrument accuracy, calibration, and field survey records.

Foundation & Tower Survey

- Mark tower foundation coordinates and center points.
- Check foundation levels, dimensions, orientation, and alignment.
- Provide survey support during tower erection and verify tower centerline and reference points.

Conductor/Stringing Survey

- Assist with conductor stringing and sagging surveys.
- Check conductor clearances from ground, roads, buildings, railways, rivers, and other crossings.

Documentation

- Prepare survey reports, coordinate sheets, level sheets, field books, and measurement records.




- Maintain tower location and as-built survey data.
- Update drawings based on actual site conditions.

Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site/Civil/Electrical Engineers, contractors, and survey teams.
- Identify and report site discrepancies, obstructions, and alignment issues.
- Support the project team in resolving survey and tower-location problems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in surveying and construction projects.

SALARY & ADVANTAGES

- Salary: Rs. 20,000 - 30,000 per month (negotiable) with Benefits of EPF, ESIC as per applicable laws.
