Job Title: Senior Chemist

Location: Mohadi, Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Experience: 4–6 Years
Salary: ₹30,000–₹40,000 per month (Negotiable)

Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry. Diploma in Chemical Engineering preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

- Independently manage complete laboratory operations and coal quality testing.
- Supervise, guide, and allocate work to junior chemists and laboratory staff.
- Conduct and verify coal testing, including Moisture, Ash, Volatile Matter, Fixed Carbon, GCV, Sulphur, and Size Analysis.
- Review and approve test reports, maintain laboratory records, and ensure timely reporting.
- Monitor coal quality during receipt, processing, and dispatch.
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and handling of laboratory equipment.
- Implement laboratory SOPs, applicable IS/ASTM standards, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Operations, Dispatch,



and Purchase teams regarding quality issues.

Required Skills:

- Strong practical knowledge of coal testing and proximate analysis.
- Experience in laboratory management and team handling.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, quality control, and MS Excel.
- Solid analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience: Coal Washery, Coal Trading, Thermal Power, Sponge Iron, Steel, Cement, or Mineral Testing Laboratory.

Key Requirement: Candidate must be capable of independently managing the entire laboratory, supervising junior staff, and ensuring accurate and timely quality reports.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
