Role Overview

The Senior Accountant manages day-to-day accounting operations, ensures zero-error statutory compliance, handles bulk payroll and vendor payouts, and prepares books up to trial balance or finalization. This role is an individual contributor role and also supervises junior accountants and coordinates with internal and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

- Bookkeeping & General Accounting
- Maintain and oversee daily bookkeeping entries (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and contra/journal vouchers) in Tally Prime/ERP and QuickBooks.
- Perform regular Bank Reconciliations (BRS) and transparent-up items.
- Manage Accounts Payable (vendor bills, GRN/MRN matching, and timely payments) and Accounts Receivable (client follow-ups and aging analysis).
- Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting closures.

GST & Tax Compliance

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliations, e-Invoicing, and E-Way bill generation.
- Handle TDS and TCS calculations, monthly deposit challans, quarterly return filings (Form 24Q, 26Q), and issue Form 16/16A.
- Assist management during tax assessments, statutory audits, and internal reviews.

Invoicing & Billing

- Oversee generation of B2B/B2C tax invoices, credit/debit notes, and pro-forma statements.




- Ensure strict adherence to GST pricing, HSN/SAC codes, and state-wise tax rules.

Bulk Salaries & Payroll Processing

- Process bulk monthly salaries alongside statutory deductions (PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and LWF).
- Reconcile payroll ledgers with general ledger accounts and prepare salary disbursement sheets for banking approval.

Financial Reporting & MIS

- Prepare trial balance, profit and loss (P&L;) statements, and balance sheet schedules.
- Generate MIS reports for cash flow, vendor dues, and expense tracking.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in corporate accounting or a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm.
- Education: B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or MBA in Finance.

Software Proficiency:

- Advanced mastery of Tally Prime / ERP 9
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Xero
- Strong command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data reconciliation)
- Core Competencies: Deep working knowledge of Indian Taxation (GST, TDS), attention to detail, and team coordination skills.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
