Job Summary

Auxo AI is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS data engineering services, Python/Java programming, SQL, and big data technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics, data warehousing, and machine learning initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions while following industry best practices in data engineering, governance, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using AWS services.
- Work extensively with AWS S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Lambda, and Amazon Redshift.
- Develop productive data processing solutions using Python, Java, or Scala.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, data models, and data warehouse solutions.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to support diverse data requirements.
- Implement distributed data processing solutions for large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to support analytics and machine learning use cases.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline failures and performance issues.
- Implement data quality checks, data governance standards, security controls, and data integrity measures.
- Optimize data storage, processing performance, and AWS infrastructure costs.
- Follow best practices for code quality, documentation, testing, and deployment.
- Stay updated with emerging data engineering technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications





- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech) or a related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS data engineering services.
- Strong practical experience with:
- Amazon S3
- AWS Glue
- Amazon EMR
- AWS Lambda
- Amazon Redshift
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, database design, and query optimization.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies and distributed data processing.
- Experience designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines.
- Knowledge of data pipeline monitoring, debugging, data quality, governance, and security best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with automated deployments and production data pipeline management.
- Exposure to cloud-based analytics and machine learning data platforms.

Work from Office – 5 days a week.
